Vibrant colour changes in the water are just a partial indicator of the materials diffusing from your body. The unseen microscopic effects are much more profound. Water Colour Explanation: During the course of an Ionic Foot Spa session, the water will most likely change colour and bits of foreign matter may appear as sediment. This is to be expected. An experienced practitioner may be able to speculate, from the colour and objects found in the water, which materials and toxins are from your body and/or which organs these materials and toxins may be concentrated. It is important to understand that the water will change colour and particles may form even if the unit is operating without feet in the water! This is because of the fact that the colour change and objects in the water can be caused by so many factors: for example, the consumption of the metal inside the array; the sea salt added; substances leaving your body through your feet; dissolved material or toxins already present in the local water supply you are using; and even the air surrounding the spa water! Typical Treatment Session Colour Chart The colour charts we have provided below are based on what we believe to be represented by the water colours when using our standard (Clinical) array.
During a session the metal in the ion generating array will corrode as part of ion generating ions process. So most or all of the colour you will see in the water will generally comes from the array. The majority of materials/toxins leaving the body do not produce a lot of colour, further more the amount of material/toxins leaving your body compared to the amount of the array material disintegrating is small. Depending on the stainless composition of the array in an ionic home body detox footspa, it is possible that the colour produces by the array may completely mask the colour produced by the materials leaving your body.
